Notice creation:
Every time a test or survey is completed first Notices are created and appear in the Notice Queue. If the test or survey passes there are no more Notices are created. However, If the test or survey fails there are 2nd , 3rd or 4th Notices will be created per the schedule. The schedule for next Notices starts once the previous Notice is processed from the Notice Queue. The schedule date for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Notices varies based on the client. Below is how Notice Queue page looks like in the Backflow Software.
Notice printing:
The notices are processed from Notice Queue. All notices in the queue for a given facility are grouped together. To avoid notices from different testing cycles being grouped together, please print notices often. To process the Notices please follow the step below.
1. Choose the Notice that you would like to process from the Notices Queue.
2. Click on Process Notices.
3. Once you process the Notice, the Notice will be printed and will move to Notice History. It will no longer appear on Notice Queue.
4. If the Notice was for a failed test or survey, the schedule for next Notice will start as soon as you processed it. For example, If a 1st failed notice is processed from the queue on Oct 1, and the 2nd Notice is configured for 14 days, the 2nd notice will be created on Oct 15 and in the queue.
5. The processed Notices is now in Notice History page.
